Jesus, I’m giving everything I have to You
Josh and Jeremy (Just Say When)
It was a very cloudy overcast morning. It even showered on and off a bit, but in true Georgia weather unpredictability the sun broke forth and shined heavily. I have been waiting to photograph Josh and Jeremy since April (and I wasn’t gonna let the rain stop me). There’s a time for everything and Tuesday morning was it! I meet them both back in January of 2009 and instantly loved there personalities. Josh and Jeremy recently graduated from bible college with degrees in Biblical Theology (sounds elite, right?) They’ll both be attending Wofford College in the fall to play football.
Jeremy is laid back, but hilarious. Is gentle giant the right way to describe it? He’s a sweetheart with amazing eyes and He’s really, really tall (hence the whole giant thing).
Josh is…Josh! He’s silly and really upbeat. They’re twins and I find it amazing how different they are.
Here are few of my favorite photographs from the day:
Here’s Jeremy:

Jeremy is kinda, sorta intense.

His eyes look amazing to me in this shot

And Josh:

All I can say is Boo yah!

The light hitting Josh’s face was brilliant!

I think this is my fav because of all the brotherly love :)

Thanks guys for letting me help you build your portfolios. I know you’ll be used at Wofford to do some amazing things. I had sooo much fun! You guys make me laugh..really loudly.
Tracy (Head shots)
Ever meet someone and automatically think “I wanna be your friend.” Okay, maybe it’s just me..
I briefly met Tracy back in 2008 for a play at his church and then we got to hang out in 2009 and we instantly clicked. Fast forward to May 2010 and we’re having a Saturday morning photo session for some new head shots. He is quite honestly hilarious and a dynamic subject to photograph. I’ll admit I wasn’t sure how shooting in overcast would look, but I think it turned out great.
Tracy being an actor and having done more photo shoots than me basically gave me some pointers and was very vocal, “This angle works! Let’s try a few over here. Step a little bit closer to me.” and I was so thankful for his direction because it showed me once again how I need to be with you! Tracy committed. And that’s one thing I want to encourage anyone who I photograph to do. Commit, so you can get the great photographs that we both want.
Here is the link to Tracy’s facebook fan page and his twitter account so like his page and follow him cause he’s goin places! Holla!

Thank you Tracy I really appreciated the opportunity to photograph you!
I have a dream
I want to own a loft one day. Random, I know, Ever since I’ve lived in the city I’ve been wanting to move back and I really miss it sometimes. To live in a city’s downtown area and own a loft is perfectly artsy which means it’s so perfectly me.
I see my self waking up to light pouring in from massive windows, having a morning workout and time with God, then heading off to the store for some organic food for some dinner party only to return home to edit photos or work on some artsy crafty project. I’m typing this to remember. Remember that this is a dream of mine and I should never give up on it.
